Scholé is based on cutting-edge scientific research we developed at the EPFL Machine Learning for Education lab, supported by the EPFL AI Center, EPFL LEARN Center, InnoSuisse, and the UC Berkeley House Fund.

Our education at scale philosophy is inspired from Vinitra's early work scaling UC Berkeley's Foundations of Data Science course from 100 to 1700 students (and 60k online) and Paola's work putting AI tools in the hands of thousands of learners.
