Learn Superhuman in 5 minutes.

Superhuman is an email client built around speed: keyboard shortcuts for everything, a split inbox that sorts what matters, and AI that drafts replies in your voice. Your five minutes go to triaging a full inbox without touching the mouse.

Triage, then write

Email is slow because every message asks for a decision. Superhuman separates deciding from writing: get to zero with shortcuts, then let AI draft the replies that need words.
Split inbox

Important first

Messages are sorted into streams: people, calendar, newsletters. You work the important stream and batch the rest.

Shortcuts

Hands on the keyboard

Archive, reply, snooze, and move without leaving the keyboard. The command palette finds anything you forgot the key for.

AI drafts

Your voice, first pass

Write with AI drafts replies from a few words, in a tone learned from your sent mail. You edit, you send; it does not send for you.

What you will do in the lesson

You answer and try things. Nobody demonstrates at you for five minutes.
  1. Clear a stream. You triage ten messages with keys only: archive, snooze, or mark for reply.
  2. Snooze with intent. You send three messages to specific future moments instead of leaving them as reminders.
  3. Draft with AI. You give a five-word instruction and get a reply, then fix the one thing it got wrong.
  4. Set a follow-up. You send a message that will resurface if nobody answers by Thursday.
  5. Decide what deserves speed. You end by sorting your real inbox into streams and setting which one you check first.
Delivered

Before you start

Is Superhuman free?

No, it is a paid subscription. This lesson runs in the frame above without one.

Does it work with my email?

It sits on top of Gmail and Outlook accounts; your mail stays where it is.

Is it worth it for a light inbox?

Probably not. It pays for itself when email is a real part of your job, which is the Scholé team's honest take.

Can the AI send without me?

No. It drafts; you send. Auto-reply is not the point, speed of deciding is.
