About Scholé
The tools are changing. The work is changing. The skills your team needs next year may not exist yet. Most workplace training cannot keep up, so we built personalized learning that adapts to every employee and keeps evolving as their role, tools, and work change.
What we do
Scholé creates personalized, role-specific training on any subject. It understands the job someone actually does (their role, their tools, their day-to-day work) and builds lessons around it. An engineer, a marketer, and a finance lead can learn the same new technology without sitting through the same generic course.
As the world changes, the training changes with it. New tools, new workflows, new skills: Scholé helps your team keep learning without constantly starting over.
Learners can begin on their own at any time. Organizations can assign training across departments, track skills, and see who is actually applying what they learned at work. Our pricing is public, from free through enterprise, and we are happy to run a small pilot with your organization.
Where we come from
Scholé is a spin-out of UC Berkeley and EPFL’s ML for Education lab, built on more than ten years of research into how people learn with AI. Our founders, Vinitra Swamy and Paola Mejia, met in that lab while doing their PhDs in AI. Before Scholé, Vinitra worked on AI infrastructure at Microsoft and helped scale JupyterHub at UC Berkeley. Paola built AI-powered learning products used by more than 200,000 learners.
We used the best principles of learning science and the best of AI to build a learning system designed to change as quickly as the world does.
The research is public: our publication record and the Tools Competition award.
